Lock-N-Load 2016 Was a BLAST!

Operation Lock N Load Sporting Clays Tournament 2016 raised over $50K at the one day event held at Westside Shooting Center.

“We are elated with the monies raised at this year’s event for the Texas Sentinels Foundation. It was the first time we changed the tournament to just one day and it was hugely successful” declared Corby Callaway Chairman of Operation Lock N Load.

More than 200 shooters competed and the weather, exhibits, sky divers and air show did not disappoint. As always, Travis Mears, Beretta world champion exhibition shooter capped off the day with his unique style of trick shooting complete with trampolines, blindfolds and help from the audience. (See videos on our TSF Facebook page.)

“Operation Lock N Load Sporting Clays Tournament serves many purposes. First, it raises much needed funds for the Foundation to build 100% debt-free, mortgage-free, ADA compliant, fully furnished homes for our deserving TSF wounded warriors. Secondly, the event allows post 9/11 wounded warriors from all over the state of Texas to come out shoot with donors and supporters, enjoy world class BBQ, relax and enjoy the exhibits, airshow & brilliant, patriotic skydiving show. And thirdly, Lock N Load inspires the community and rallies great Americans to come together to support a true charity where all the proceeds to towards the mission. We rely on our all-volunteer staff and committees to keep the Texas Sentinels Foundation running and making a difference on the lives of our TSF wounded warriors” noted both Richard and Jeanne Filip, Co-Founders of the Texas Sentinels Foundation.
