Texas Sentinels Honored at 2011 RE/MAX of Texas Statewide Convention

Texas Sentinels Foundation once again took center stage at this year’s RE/MAX of Texas Statewide Convention in Austin. Heavily supported by RE/MAX Realtors in Texas, The Foundation highlighted their mission to provide homes to disabled veterans, and shine a spotlight on recent achievements such as the completion of Sergeant De Leon’s and Sergeant Wilson’s home, and progress of Marine Corporal Justin Rokohl’s home.

Texas Sentinels Jorge De Leon and Justin Rokohl were on hand for the formal presentation of the colors, and led a crowd of hundreds in a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance during the convention’s Awards Night Gala. The Foundation has started off 2011 with bold steps in completing and presenting Sergeant Wilson’s home in Arlington only a few days following the Awards Night Gala. A fourth disabled veteran and Texas Sentinels Foundation Honoree Sergeant Justin Feagan of Dallas was also recognized and presented with a check from the foundation.
