The Texas Sentinels Foundation has been answering the call of duty all over the state of Texas since the first of the year.  “We are proud to announce that our generous   donors, supporters and our TSF Ambassadors have  committed to building and awarding six homes in the first quarter of 2014” declared an enthusiastic Richard Filip, Co-Founder of the Texas Sentinels Foundation. In 2013, the Foundation awarded five 100% debt-free, mortgage-free, ADA compliant  and fully furnished homes to deserving TSF wounded warriors.  “The increase in building and awarding TSF homes in 2014 is a direct reflection of the enormous need in Texas for homes for post 9/11 wounded warriors.  Texas has the largest population of wounded warriors and we are honored to assist our military wounded warriors, America’s Heroes, in building their new lives starting with a new home”  exclaimed Corby Callaway,  TSF Board of Directors chairman.

The latest TSF homes are scattered throughout the state of Texas: Abilene, Baytown/Mont Belvieu, Cypress, Dallas, Dallas/Fort Worth and Pearland.  Since January 2014, the members of the TSF Board of Directors and the TSF home team leaders have been actively reviewing applications and interviewing potential qualified applicants. A detailed and thorough screening process ensures that the most qualified candidates receive a TSF home. “None of the good deeds of the Foundation would be possible without the support, kindness and generosity of our TSF Ambassadors.  We owe a debt of gratitude not only to our TSF wounded warriors but to all those citizens, business owners and patriots in each community who come together to form the home building teams.  They give so much of themselves and countless hours of their time to make the dream of home ownership a reality for our TSF heroes” Jeanne Filip, Co-Founder echoed at a recent luncheon in Abilene thanking the community for its involvement with the Foundation.
