Klusoz Tappas and Martini Bar in San Antonio was the site of another Texas Sentinels Foundation fundraiser, this time the event was the popular annual Monster Mash. Approximately 150 costumed agents and supporters attended this year’s 80s-themed Halloween event to raise money for the building of ret. Army Sergeant Jorge De Leon family home, which was framed this summer and nearing completion.

Jorge and his wife Nydia were in attendance, participating in the costume contest (which Jorge won for the category of “Most Original Costume” for his interpretation of The Terminator) as well as door prizes. Raffle baskets consisting of themed gift baskets which were voted on for their originality were also used in fundraising with attendees purchasing voting tickets. The winning basket was a 80s Dirty Dancing from RE/MAX North San Antonio. Current estimates put the total funds raised at $7,500 for the Texas Sentinels Foundation San Antonio team.
