SGT Paul Podhorn, 1st Cavalry Division, Ft. Hood, was shot in the head by an Iraqi insurgent on August 26, 2011. Paul was partially paralyzed on his right side told he may never walk again but with the constant love and support of his wife Karen and his stubborn determination to prove his doctors wrong, Paul devoted himself to extensive rehabilitation.
