Erich Ellis

In June of 2012, on his fourth tour of duty in Afghanistan, Sgt. Erich Ellis, US Marine stepped upon an Improvised Explosive Device (“IED”) while on a MARSOC (“United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command”) deployment. Resulting in the amputation of his right leg from the knee down, Ellis underwent ten surgeries within the first 30 days of his injury.

Embodying the characteristics of a true American hero, Ellis was awarded the Purple Heart for his sacrifice and courageous service.

As team leader of the project, RE/MAX DFW Associates was pleased to welcome Sgt. Erich Ellis to his new, Mortgage-Free Home, in the North DFW area.
