Marine Corporal Dan Peterson
CPL Daniel Peterson, USMC, received a specialized all-terrain tracked wheelchair with help from the Texas Sentinels Foundation Life Scholarship Fund, in partnership with major donors Northwest Dodge and Rolling Thunder TX2.
Peterson suffered the amputation of both legs after being severely wounded by a bomb while on patrol in the Southern Helmand Province of Afghanistan. He was medically retired from the Marines, where he was trained as a sniper. Undeterred by his injuries, Peterson continues to participate in sniper courses and competitions on a regular basis.
Peterson has worked with Tactical Firearms. The two were introduced through TSF, who assisted Peterson with his professional resume.
