Gallery Furniture donates to Sentinel home

The Woodlands, TX – January 10, 2012 – Gallery Furniture, a Houston-based furniture store, recently donated a house full of brand new home furnishings to wounded vet Chris Sanford’s new home, which is being provided debt-free via the Texas Sentinels Foundation

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, founder of Gallery Furniture, is well-known for his charitable contributions to the Houston community as well as his support of our troops.

The Gallery Furniture team brought piece after piece of beautiful new furniture into the home, filling the living room, dining room, bedroom, and study.

Sanford, a Houston native who was severely injured by an Improvised Explosive Device in Iraq, will receive the keys to his new, fully-furnished home in The Woodlands on Saturday, January 14th, 2012.

The dedication ceremony will begin with a parade at 10 a.m., originating at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, making its way down Creekside Forest Drive and leading to the home site at 114 Deer Plain in The Woodlands.  Following the parade will be a short program of area dignitaries, key sponsors, and representatives from the Texas Sentinels Foundation.
