2nd Annual Operation Tight Lines is a Success

Winners.Before sunrise on July 30th, over 100 fishing enthusiast launched into the dark waters of the Texas Gulf Coast as part of the 2nd annual Operation Tight Lines Saltwater Fishing Tournament.  Men and Women in teams of 3 were trying to hook the best Redfish & Trout in hopes of bringing in an award winning fish or netting the heaviest stringer.  As boats began to dock at Harborwalk Marina to weigh in, the fishermen & women were greeted with a hamburger & hot dog lunch, ice cold drinks, raffle items, a US Coast Guard search & rescue demonstration and feel good music.  After all was said and done, Operation Tight Lines raised over $30,000 to build or rehab additional homes for future Texas Sentinels Foundation heroes.
